"I wanted to revisit this accord to push it to its limits, to see how far this extraordinary smoky woody note could go. A perfumer never stops exploring the material. For this reinterpretation, I chose more 'technical' notes, replacing, for example, rose with rose oxide or cade wood with pyrogenic incense. Like familiar objects seen in the dark. They reveal themselves with a different intensity."
